There are four stages to cure depression in 3 minutes:
Stage 1 - Unconscious Incompetence
You knew something was wrong, but probably couldn't quite put it into words, and it just seemed to be a general feeling that you couldn't pin-point down to anything specific. During this time you were almost constantly miserable, but didn't know why.
Stage 2 - Conscious Incompetence
This is where you are right now. You have a pretty good idea of what is wrong now. You can verbalize your feelings to others when you need to. But you still don't know what to do about your depression to fix it, and make it better. You are probably feeling very frustrated when you think about it, too.
Stage 3 - Conscious Competence
This is what you will gain from the "3-Minute Depression Cure" program. You will have a very good understanding of what has caused your depression. You will know exactly what to do about it to make it better. Every time something happens that could trigger another bout of depression, you will recognize what you need to do in order to keep your depression from getting out of control. You will have to make a conscious effort at times, but it will be easy when you do.
Stage 4 - Unconscious Competence
After a while you will have developed your ability to use the processes to the point where they become automatic. You won't have to even think about it any more! It takes a little time to get to this point, but it will happen. Remember those people I mentioned above, who just seem naturally cheerful all the time? This is what they are doing! But they just learned to do it naturally, and don't even have a conscious idea of what they do. Birds just fly naturally - they don't think about it. And after a while you will do the same thing.
As you can see, this process is easy to begin with, and just gets easier the more you do it. The more you do it the better you feel, and the better you feel the more you will want to keep doing it.
And thus, the cycle of depression is broken forever.
